L'Azalee cruise 2 days 1 night
Day 1: HANOI - BAI TU
LONG BAY (L,D)
08.00 – 08.30: Pick up at your address in Hanoi by
shuttle bus or private car.
11.30AM Arrive at Tuan Chau Island and L’Azalee Cruises
Halong Bay Reception Lounge for pre-cruise welcome,
passenger registration and welcome drink.
11:45am Transfer from the Reception Lounge to your
dedicated private boat to be welcomed onboard by your
dedicated boat crew who will be hosting you for the
duration of your cruise with us. Commence safety
briefing & tour of your boat with your personal host.
12:00pm Depart from Tuan Chau Marina heading in a
southerly direction on the western side of Halong Bay
which is the eastern side of Cat Ba Island, review your
itinerary with your host and get settled into your cabin
or relax on the upper deck.
1.00pm Lunch is served while continuing to cruise
through the tranquil, peaceful and calm waters between
Cat Ba Island and Halong Bay. Should you wish to have
lunch either a little earlier or later than 1.00pm
please advise your onboard host so that he can prepare
at the time of your convenience.
3.00pm Arrive and drop anchor in the bay area of Dark &
Bright cave & grotto. In this secluded bay area you can
be adventurous and kayak inside this cave of varying
brightness. Alternatively you may choose to drop anchor
in the Lom Bo Island area and take a guided walk through
Me Cung Cave.
4.00pm Weigh anchor and take a short cruise to Soi Sim
Island & Beach arriving at this next destination at
approx 4.30pm. Here you can take a swim from the beach
or take a leisurely walk up the island to the peak to
oversee Halong Bay.
5.30pm Weigh anchor and cruise further south to your
overnight anchorage location adjacent to “Drum Cave” by
6.00pm. Sunset tapas snacks will be served for
pre-dinner nibbles.
7.00pm “Dinner is served” on the upper deck. Should you
wish to have dinner a little later than this time,
please advise your onboard host so that he can prepare
at the time of your convenience.
After dinner you can choose to play a board game, watch
your choice of DVD from our on board library of DVD’s or
try your hand at some evening squid fishing.
Day 2: BAI TU LONG BAY - HANOI (B,L)
Sunrise for early risers you can take in a morning
Sunrise over Bai Tu Long Bay and watch the sun rise over
the lime stone karsts of Ha Long.
7.00am “Good Morning Vietnam”. Breakfast can be served
anytime you like from 7am onwards. The choice if yours
of an early start to the day or a more leisurely later
start to the day. Please advise your host the evening
before of the time you would like to have breakfast.
7: 30am Weigh anchor and cruise for 30 minutes to Cua
Van Floating Fishing Village. This sightseeing activity
of Cua Van Village is optional and should you prefer to
simply sleep in and stay anchored in the anchorage point
for a little longer before cruising back to Tuan Chau
Marina please advise your host the evening before.
Alternatively you may wish to visit Fairy Cave in place
of visiting Cua Van Village.
8.00am Arrive and drop anchor at Cua Van Floating
Village. Here you can either choose to kayak yourself
around the waters of the floating village or jump on a
traditional sampan and be rowed around by local people.
From the water you will be able to discover and observe
the way of life of this local floating village.
8.45am Return to your boat, freshen up and continue
cruising in a northerly direction towards Tuan Chau
Island. On this leg of your cruise you will pass by well
known karsts of Ha Long of Thumb Island, Fighting Cocks,
the Karst featured on the 200,000 dong note and other
interesting formations.
10.45am Arrive back at Tuan Chau Marina and disembark
for transfer to the L’Azalee Cruises Reception Lounge,
complete final check-out requirements and be served with
our light lunch snack before joining your return
transfer back to Hanoi or another onwards destination.
Please note that we can arrange to have your light lunch
snack packaged to take away with you so that you can eat
later in the afternoon in the car.
11.45 – 12.00: Drive back to Hanoi.
15.45 – 16.00: Arrive in Hanoi, end of trip.
